its been a while since my last update but anyways here I go..
First of all, I must apologize, apparently I missed capping the first 2 seconds of the show. being christmas and all I guess I had alot on my mind. Nevertheless, The rest of the capping of episode 38 went fine..
Secondly, one of my favorite site, Public mm, from which I use as a tracker for the shinsengumi episodes has apparently closed for the time being, so I will use the d-addicts tracker instead for future postings. As for older episodes of shinsengumi, if there is a need I will repost them in packs (more then one episode) and personally seed them. This will be done depending on demand for such an action..
Lastly, Since its the holidays, Shinsengumi episode 39 will not air next week, but airing will resume starting from the week after that.. anyways, Merry christmas!

Thank you for all your work, Tonkatsu - I know I'm not the only one who really appreciates all the effort you put into doing this.  Happy Holidays and health and happiness to you in the new year.

Wow, thank you a lot, I was wondering what was going to happen with Shinsengumi after PublicMM closed. I really like this dorama and I'll be waiting for next episodes (it's impossible for me to watch Japanese television from Spain, so I must really thank for your effort on this). I haven't writed any comments on this site till now because I didn't know it existed ^^U, sorry for the delay. And thank you again! You're kind ;)

My blog: http//angelalexiel.blogspot.com  about Japanese thingies, though it's in Spanish.

See ya, Alexiel

Just a question: After downloading a couple of episodes from the second batch (13-), I noticed the sound is off somewhat. It sounds real "canny" and metallic. It could be a codec problem at my end, but I don`t think so, since the sound of everything else I try is normal.

Was this the quality of the original broadcast, or something special in the encoding. More recent episodes don`t seem to have this problem either. Any clues as to what could be the cause of this?

well to answer your question, When I first started capturing I started off as a newbie..I started off capturing without really editing the sound, so as time passed I started to fix it as best I could.. Anyways if you would like the sound to be better for the past episodes, I find that using customizable media players like Zoomplayer helps.
